I'm currently looking into a hopper extension for my 2017 Lexion 670. It still has the standard 330-bushel setup, but I want more capacity this year for soy. Is anyone running extensions on theirs? I'm a little Curious if there are any axle stress issues. Hoping this is plug-and-play?

You might want to consider hopper extensions like the Power Hopper Topper. They can give you about 100 extra bushels of capacity and come with supports to manage the added weigth. Install is generally straightforward so you can expect a moderate amount of effort to get them set up. Axle stress shouldn't really be a concern as long as everythin is installed correctly, but it's still a good idea to keep an eye on it while you're using it.

Why stick with the stock axle if you're planning to boost capacity, have you looked into whether it's rated to safely handle the extra weight, especially when fully loaded with soy?

It might. @zeus coffee you should expect to see additional strain on components, so see if there are upgrades available, if not, don't expect impressive longevity
