Feeder house bearing fix that works

Been running a Lexion 740 combine out here in central Kansas with a MacDon FD140 header. After 2 seasons, the feeder house bearing started giving out under load. My brother and I swapped in the heavy duty bearing and housing upgrade we developed and it's held up through wheat and milo without a hiccup. Anyone else running high draw headers on the 700 series?

Thanks for confirming! We thought the FD140 might be tough on the feeder house but the bearing only started to wear out in the second season under a full load. We upgraded to a cast housing with a bigger NTN bearing and stronger mounting points and it's handled wheat and milo with no problems so far. Next month, we'll see how it does in corn. Are you using the FD140 or something wider like the FD145? Has anyone tried the upgrade with a riser kit or a different tilt cylinder to cut down on header drag during long runs?
