CR9070 bolt trouble

I've got a CR9070 that started making a bit of noise, so I dug in and found a broken bolt where the shoe drive mounts to the chassis. Ever since ive been wondering, did it just work itself loose over time and snap or is there a more complex issue behind it? Thinking whether to tear in further or patch it and run.

Man, same thing happened on my CR9080, the bolt had loosened over time from vibration and eventually sheared off. I'd definitely inspect nearby mounts, it could be a sign of wear starting elsewhere too

That's the thing with these kinds of issues, you never know how long the process was going on until something breaks. In your case, since there's a problem start inspecting and see if there's any additional damage. It could've been a while so you might have some additional damage you'll need to fix.
